During Covid, I spent a lot of time online reading with my grandmother. She would read a page, then I would read a page. It made reading go quicker and kept me more interested in the plot.
If you look at my bookcase on my website, you can find a book that we both have, and you can select a time when I'm available so we can read. Then, at that time, we can read for 30 minutes.
I have lots of different types of books, like mysteries, classics, and my personal favorites. I'm a 2023-2024 fifth grader and can tell you what I liked when I started reading and what I like reading today.
